Teatro Capovolto: Fifty Evenings in the Heart of the City

Summer in Trento now has one certainty: Teatro Capovolto. In 2026 it returns once again to Piazza Cesare Battisti with a format that has truly become part of the city’s rhythm for both locals and visitors. The stage of the Teatro Sociale faces outward toward the square, turning the city itself into an open-air audience, with events running throughout the summer until the end of August.
You can head downtown after dinner, stop for an aperitivo in the square, and then choose between live music, theater performances, open-air cinema, or cultural talks.
The 2026 program includes concerts, plays, comedy shows, poetry, dance, and outdoor cinema — very different evenings connected by the same idea: experiencing Trento outdoors.

Trento Live Fest: Big Concerts Under the Late-Summer Sky

Between the end of August and the beginning of September, the Trentino Music Arena hosts the second edition of Trento Live Fest, one of the most anticipated music events of the summer.
Six evenings, two weekends, and a line-up featuring very different artists: Emma, Fulminacci, Gemitaiz, Luca Carboni, Madame, and Negramaro.
The atmosphere here feels more like a true festival: live music, food areas, people arriving from all over Italy, and the feeling of experiencing Trento in an even more dynamic way.
The best part? You can enjoy the concert and be back at the hotel within minutes, while the city is still full of energy.

Summer Flavors: Trento’s Foodie Side

In Trentino, summer is also about flavor. You don’t need to chase big events every night — often it’s enough to stroll through the city center and follow the aromas, outdoor terraces, and small food events that fill the season.
Between June and August, several events celebrate the local territory.
One of the most charming is Fiori Erbe Sapori in Bellamonte and the surrounding area, running from June 5th to 21st. Dedicated to Trentino’s flavors and nature, it features tastings, talks, walks, and local products that tell the story of the region in an authentic way.
Wine lovers can also enjoy the Weekend in Cantina program, available throughout the year, with tastings among vineyards and local wineries.
And then there’s one simple but beautiful experience right in the city: the farmers’ market in Piazza Dante, held every Saturday morning.
